A great Halloween product can be the start of a scene, a costume or an entire story. Chris brings a filmmaker’s interest in character, comedy and visual effects to finding things worth a closer look.
Spooky Stuff brings together decorations, costumes, practical comparisons and Halloween outings in New Jersey and New York City. The goal is to help you choose a look that fits your space, plans and budget.

Our current buying guides are based on published product information and retailer listings. We have not personally tested every item. When we add hands-on coverage, we will identify the exact product and what we actually tried.
Real products and imaginative videos
Our creative videos may use AI or visual effects to exaggerate movement, dialogue or events. A character doing something in a story does not establish that the retail product can do it. Product guides describe the listed hardware capabilities separately.
